These are my thoughts and our family adventures as we fulfill the Great Commission, homeschool, and work towards living debt-free. We seek to glorify God with our lives which Christ has purchased with His own blood on the cross (Acts 20:28). As new creatures in Christ, we are lilies in the valley of this world, lifting high the name of Jesus, the only One in Whom there is salvation and the only Name by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12).

14 years!
Today is our 14th anniversary--14 amazing years! Thanking the Lord for His marvelous grace and mercy all these years. We are still learning all the ways in which being gospel-centered makes a marriage flourish and grow. Christ truly is the source of life for all things--including marriage! In honor of our anniversary, I'm sharing here the best scene (IMHO) from the movie "Fireproof". It beautifully highlights how the gospel relates to marriage and really any relationship. In this scene, fireman Caleb Holt (played by Kirk Cameron) talks with his dad about why his marriage is broken beyond repair.
