No one loves a snowy day like a child. After thinking this winter was going to be an easy one, we got hit with two snowstorms--much to our children's delight. They had the right equipment ready and waiting for just such a day: a snowball maker and a few snow brick molds. They didn't mind helping to shovel the long alleyway next to our house because the shoveled snow made more of a snow pile for their sledding hill and forts. And for the first time, Lil' Chunkers went out into the snow to play with the "big boys".
Almost ready to go out
Everyone was excited for Lil' Chunkers
The beginnings of a fort
The snowball maker made perfectly round snowballs...
...but perfectly round snowballs were not required for the fun!
I thought after being outside for twenty minutes Lil' Chunkers was ready to come inside as he was heading for the front steps, but he surprised me by turning around and sitting on the bottom step for a good while longer!
Looks like a fun day! Wow, that snowball maker makes great looking snowballs!
