Here's to Tom, a wonderful father of five!On Father's Day we went out to eat and after the meal we presented our Daddy with a homemade card and gifts.
This "Dad's Saving Box" was the boys' idea. Because Dad works hard to provide
for them, they wanted to save up and give HIM some money for a change!
We also gave him some "dad" t-shirts we thought he'd like!
We appreciate all that our Daddy does for us. He's a dad who....
reads the scriptures to his family daily
teaches his daughter how to operate the ride-on mower
takes his children out with him in the mornings to place gospel packets on doors
works hard to pay for swimming lessons
and music lessons
and laptops to do school work on (no internet!)
takes his children to coin shows
and Cabela's
and golfing
and to local events to hand out gospel tracts
then out for treats afterwards
gives his children rides in the bed of his pick up
(slowly up the alley behind our house)
involves his children in work projects
(no matter what faces they make!)
teaches his children about saving and investing by requiring them to
place half of all their earnings and gift money into brokerage accounts
(Biggest Brother turned our chore board into a stock production chart!)
runs 5Ks and 8Ks to stay in shape
and sometimes takes his baby on his daily runs
which all means he's a dad who needs a nap now and then!

What a wonderful tribute to your hubby, Charlene! And we love Cabela's, too. :)
