Happy Birthday Little Mama! (2014)

Like a lot of families that include little girls, we've been "Frozen" ever since the movie came out almost a year ago.  "Let it Go" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" are frequently being played on the piano by Sissy Mom (poor Lil' Chunkers has inadvertently memorized both songs as a result) and various versions of "Let it Go" can be heard playing from the iPod throughout the day ("Let it Go" in Hebrew, anyone?).

Little Mama is a huge Frozen fan and as such, chose Frozen as her 7th birthday theme.

Can you tell she's happy?

We decorated the table,

gave Olaf the job of watching the presents
(the card he's holding reads, "I love warm hugs"),

and played a game of "Pin the Carrot Nose on Olaf"!

There was chocolate birthday cake with whipped pudding frosting

and let's not forget the Birthday Speeches!

Little Mama danced to "Let it Go"
while Sissy Mom accompanied on piano.

The fuzzy dog purse she always wanted!!!

Little Mama's Birthday Speeches told of a little girl who is often willing to play a board game with a bored brother, has a vocabulary way beyond her age, is often the first to want to pray at the meal table, loves to help prepare and cook meals, instituted tea parties into the Witek family, is a great listener during read-alouds, can put her little brother down for his nap like an expert, and loves to write "I love you" notes to her mommy.  Little Mama brings so much brightness and laughter into our family and we are so grateful to the Lord for gifting her to us these seven years!
