Homeschool Prom! 2015

Every spring a local family sponsors the Homeschool Prom, a formal dance for any homeschooled student in grades 8-12.  Though Sissy Mom is completing her freshman year, this was the first year she attended the event.  She and her friends (The Mixed Chicks!) visited the local chapter of Becca's Closet and had a fun day trying on dresses until they each found one they liked.  At the end of the day Sissy Mom had a beautiful dress and matching shawl, purse, and shoes all for free!  She put her sewing skills to good use and altered the dress herself.  I added some silver hair to her twists to match her dress.  It was a wonderful evening with a group of really fun kids.

for that evening Lil' Chunkers joined the chaperones at the dance!
